Hazrat Ali dropped Harif on the ground and it was close that you would separate him from his body. In that time, that Kafir spit on your face Mubarak. Hazrat Ali immediately left him and stood up.

The Kafir said: O Ali! What is it that you left me when I have done a great deal with you? You said: Till then. Teri and mine were being fought only for God. But now my nafs have become war. That's why I left you. The Kafir became a Muslim immediately after seeing this pride.
Dear children Our Alaihissalam has given us this advice:
"Do any work, don't forget that Allah is watching you"
